Welcome to Pate’s Pugorium & Boutique of Interesting Things. We are an old-world curiosity shop for pug people, dog lovers, and anyone who prefers their everyday things with a little more character, velvet, mischief, and mystery.

The Pugorium brings together original character merchandise, canine finery, practical dog goods, Halloween-worthy oddities, books, journals, mugs, home pieces, and other strange little treasures worth keeping.

Our rule is simple: useful is good, beautiful is better, and interesting is mandatory.

Built around real pugs

The shop is inspired by a very real household of six pugs—Ash, Ruby, Sterling, Pablo, Kevin, and Veronica—each with strong opinions about comfort, snacks, style, and who deserves the best chair.

Veronica serves as the Pugorium’s resident tastemaker and brand ambassador, while the rest of the committee contributes the level of supervision you would expect from six small dogs with no concept of personal space.

The bigger dream

Pate’s Pugorium is also the beginning of a larger vision: a future pug-centered café and rescue-minded gathering place where curious people can meet, dogs can be celebrated, and responsible rescue partnerships can be supported.

That dream will take planning, licensing, the right space, equipment, partnerships, and time. We are building toward it carefully and transparently—one strange little step at a time.

Why Pate’s?

Because this is personal. The name belongs to the family building it, the dogs who inspired it, and the idea that a small shop can grow into something meaningful without losing the weirdness that made it worth starting.
